Where are you from originally? Where do you live currently?
Originally from the Bay Area ~ Alameda, Ca. I moved to Detroit in 1995 then I move to Georgia in 2016.
How would you describe yourself? (mentally & physically)
I would describe myself as a free-spirited go getter. I believe that my lane is paved just for me and there are no limits to what I can build and manifest.
What makes you unique? What draws people to you?
This is a good question because I feel we are all unique and our presence and have a different power and purpose depending on who you cross paths with. I will say that my nurturing energy, resilience and encouraging spirit is what draws people in. I think I can be a whole vibe at times. I never quit!!!
Tell us a time that you were in a terrible place/mindset? How did you overcome? How do you keep from going back to that ugly place?
I will absolutely say when I lost my mother in 2016. Being the youngest of her children and the one to wrote and created her Homegoing less than 8 hours after telling her "Good Night Mommy," was the hardest thing I have ever had to experience in my 44 years of life. I was literally just an empty vessel walking on this earth lifeless for a good 3 1/2 years.
Truthfully, I am still grieving but I smile and love more today than I did yesterday. I have spent the last 4 years in a rebirthing period, rebuilding each piece of my broken self to be stronger and better. God is soo Great...He truly has covered me and has given me everything I needed during this journey.
If you were given a stage to speak on anything to better this world, what would you talk about and what plan of action would you put in place to make sure it happened?
Hmmm if I were given a stage to speak on anything to better this world, what would I talk about...Living life to the fullest unapologetically. Love on you and enjoy you because if you don't you can't do anything for anyone else. Loving and growing self is the most important thing we all can do in this world because if you lose yourself it is the hardest thing to get back and everyone around you pays the price. Hurt people hurt people!!! The action has already started. I have a platform - though small now - but I believe its powerful. I have been a radio host on “Let's Chat Radio” for about 6-7 years now and I love what I do.
How do you make time for yourself and manage to keep yourself a priority?
Whew Chile... I just have to do it. Putting myself first is a must because if I don’t, I will get wrapped up life and never experience it.
How does your talent/services help others? Why would you recommend you to others?
I have actually been told by a lot of my client's that I'm a bright light on a darkened path... I just wanna see everyone win and will stand in the battle with you and be the biggest cheerleader and manifester that you can have on your team. I'm here to help you birth out whatever God has placed in your belly. I'm a ride or die type teammate.
Tell us a song, a verse, a motivational video and/or person that keeps you motivated lately. Why?
Ohhhh Safe in his: Because the Lord is my shepherd
I have everything I need
He lets me rest in the meadows grass
And He leads me besides the quiet stream
He restores my failing hands
And helps me to do what honors
That's why I'm safe
Safe in His arms
Because God is soo Great...He truly has covered me and has given me everything I needed during this journey. Y'all just don't know........He Reigns!!!
How do you feel about the STATE OF WOMEN these days?
I feel that women are the World's Leaders and the backbones of our families especially Black Women. And because of that we are being hunted and our rights are being stripped. So, it’s very important that we stand in our power together making sure we educate and grow those around us.
Shoutout a woman that you can't help but cheer on because she is doing the DANG THANG just like you. (provide her social media and or email if possible)
Deena Franklin and Nicola Mitchel both on FB
What advice would you like to share with the world?
Love on you and enjoy you because if you don't you can't do anything for anyone else. Loving and growing self is the most important thing we all can do in this world because if you lose yourself it is the hardest thing to get back and everyone around you pays the price. Hurt people hurt people!!!
Any additional information we need to know about you?
In my spare time I love playing Sims, writing my first book and daddling in genealogy.
